After all of the illnesses we've been going through, lately, we finally made it out to enjoy some summer fun!

We went to a local waterpark to enjoy this sunny, superhot day.

Everyone had a blast!

After the summer we've had, this was just what the doctor ordered!

We haven't had too many chances to get out in the sunshine, lately, because of all the illness in the house. I hope that changes now that we are on the mend.

Here's a picture from this afternoon. Sky and I went out to check on her pumpkin plants and then came upon this little cutie. He (she?) let us get pretty close before hopping off into the bushes.

Scenes From a Summer's Day

I'm so excited to join Renee for this summer photo challenge. It's very simple and sounds like a lot of fun! I don't claim to be some extra talented photographer, but I do love to snap pictures pretty much everywhere we go. Sometimes my pictures turn out very well. And sometimes, well, not so much. But, each represents a memory........something we can view in the future that will be a trigger to a whole load of memories from the past.

I am having an unusually busy week this week, so I'm a little delayed in putting up my first Scene from a Summer's Day photo. But I will get on it, ASAP!
