He's Back Again!

Mr. Turtle came back again! As soon as Skylar spotted him out the window near our crabapple tree, everyone stopped what they were doing. We always make time for his visits, then let him go. I never let the children keep him for more than 15 minutes or so, because I'm afraid he'd accidentally get injured. He first came on the day we moved into this house. It was like he was welcoming us. Here's some pics from this visit. At first he didn't want to come out of his shell.

But then, within a few minutes, he got more comfortable with us.
He was out, exploring the deck in no time.
Evan didn't want to actually touch him, but he did wave "hi".

Mr. Turtle even made a friend. A rather large, plastic friend. ;-)
Soon it was time for Taylor to set him free again.

Oh, and Evan added the fourth name......"Turtle". So his name is now officially Awkward Rusty Adeline Turtle.

Come back soon, Awkward Rusty Adeline Turtle. I think we'll stick to calling him Mr. Turtle, for short. :-)
