It is just a crazy busy time of year. I wish we could just stay in, most of this month and craft and create gifts and celebrate all the feast days in Advent with Teatimes and crafts and stories. Sounds so cozy........wait a second, I'm enjoying this daydream.......
Anyway, back to reality. I'm trying really hard to keep life simple right now. But it does get overwhelming. I have a confession to make. I don't have my Advent wreath out yet. Or our Advent calendar, or the many beautiful books that we enjoy reading this time of year. Our Jesse Tree and all the ornaments? Yep, still in the garage. Our nativity?.....in the garage. And Sky has been asking me to get out the Playmobil Nativity set. Have I done it yet? Nope. I just can't seem to find the time. I will though. I'm determined. But I can't do it alone.
So could you please say a little prayer for me? I really feel like I'm cheating my children out of enjoying this Advent season to the fullest. So please, just a quick prayer? Thanks.
BTW, guess where my Thanksgiving Decor is? All through the house, waiting to be put in the garage. Zoinks. So, about that prayer......please?

Put your older children onto the job. There is now way our Advent Wreath would have been done on Sunday if left to me, dd decorated it. Ds got out the manager, another dd laid out the books.
They are so pleased to be trusted and it makes it all so much easier for us.
(BTW we didn't light the wreath till the Wednesday, blush)
