Ugh! Maybe someone else that looks at these pics can tell what they are, but I don't know. I looked on the internet and found diseases of the tree, but none looked exactly like these pics. Maybe your Dad would be familiar with this. You could take pics like these to a nursery and see if they recognize the problem and tell you what to do about it. Good luck!
