Weekend Rush

We have a busy weekend upon us. The musical that Taylor is in, opens this weekend. She is sooooooo excited! And we are excited for her. It's Alice in Wonderland, which happens to be one of her favorite books of all time! She has been having so much fun with this, and is already sad at the thought of it ending. This is expected to be one of the best shows that our local children's theater has ever put on! There are 2 shows this weekend, and two next weekend. I will, of course, post pictures of her and her friends in costume, once this whirlwind of a weekend is over.

And tomorrow, as everyone knows, is the Superbowl! And the awsome Pittsburgh Steelers are in it, so we just have to see that. Unfortunately, it conflicts with Taylor's musical, so we are hoping to at least catch the second half of the game.

I'm also planning on doing some school lesson plans and checking papers and I'm sure John will need to make a trip to Costco, and he might want to hit the gym. And we'll need to go to Mass at 9 am, in order to make it to help set up for tomorrow's performance of Alice. Wow.

Hope your weekend is full of all the things you enjoy!

Wow, you are busy, busy, busy! I cleaned today and went to 5 pm Mass. I'm also getting a collage of pictures ready for my CCD Open House on Feb. 9th. I'll try to remember to take pics so you can see it. I'm also practicing a song with movements from the vacation bible school this past summer with my students to perform for their parents (sadly, the boys aren't very into it). I'm also sending them home with a "HoHo" so their kids can explain to them the "Blessed Trinity." We will only have about 15-20 mins and I can always just ask for questions. Not sure how many parents will come anyway. But there is a teaching mass first in the church at 5 pm which is their usual starting time.

I do have to work tomorrow and I'm wearing my Steeler shirt and a gold and black button that says "Here We Go." I'm done at 12:30 so I hope to meet Carol for lunch and a visit and then to Kmart to see if they have the ringless pacifiers and a large bib for Kyra. Then on to Theresa C's and maybe M & N's if I find the paci's and bib, if not then home to the Superbowl (after a quick stop at the store for french onion dip and chips). We also got hoagies and pizza from the Garden Club fund raiser at church to eat while winning the Superbowl.

Hope your weekend all goes well. Break a leg, Tay!! Wish I could be there to see you!
Love and blessings, Gma JO :)
