How Does Your Garden Grow?

Spring is such a busy time of year. And it's so much fun! We are planning to have a garden this year. It will be a small garden, but as long as it produces some good things for us to share in the end, we'll be happy. It doesn't have to be much, just something to pull off the vine or out of the earth, wash off and eat. If that happens, we'll be a whole gang of happy campers!
My kiddos are planting seeds of their choosing. So far we have carrot, strawberry, tomato and pumpkin seeds that have been planted. (And yes, that is a cupcake holder from the store that we are using as a mini greenhouse. It is not my idea. I read it on another blog and can't remember where! If you know, please leave me a comment so I can give credit to the creator of this neat idea!)

The tomato and strawberry plants are small, but growing. The pumpkin and carrot seeds are......well......not. Not yet, anyway. We'll take a crack at some cauliflower and onion, too. Hope to plant them this weekend.
In case you haven't already figured it out, I'm not "horticulturally inclined". I might even go so far as to say I'm "horiculturally deficient". But I can learn! And if this year's garden does not produce much delicious produce, we will take what we learn from the experience and sock it away until same time next year. (That's me trying to be optimistic.)

How neat! I'm sure the girls had fun! Hope you get some produce when all is done. It will be fun watching the plants grow, too. Hope I get to taste some of them some time! Thanks for the info and pics, Tina! Love to all!
